Rink Amide-MBHA Resin

This resin is less acid sensitive than Rink Amide resin because the benzhydrylamine linker is joined to the support through an electron-withdrawing accetamide spacer. Normally the product is detached from the resin using 95% TFA in DCM plus scavengers as required by the composition of the substrate. It is also useful for preparing peptides. Synthesis of tri- and tetra- and pentapeptides were performed via a solid phase synthesis methodology using a Rink Amide MBHA resin.
